Empowerment, Sovereignty, and deep support are not mutually exclusive. You can Be your own healer (together with Hashem/God) AND receive the maximum amount of support, community, nurture, nourishment, care, friendship, healing, love, collaboration, reciprocity, and resonance at the same time. You can deeply surrender into receiving in empowered ways that honor ALL of who you are.

Surrender doesn’t mean losing yourself, it means choosing to ALLOW receiving to yourself. It means receiving fully, in ways that honor every layer and part of your precious existence. The bigness and smallness, the light and the contrast, the human and soul - ALL of it.

A possibility in this universe is a reality where support, deep holding, care, nurture, sisterhood/brotherhood, nourishment, and reciprocal care flow to you without diminishing your power.

To receive fully is holy. To allow yourself to be nurtured, to be held, to learn something new, to resonate with others (with your whole heart and soul) is a sacred act of courage.

This Chanukah, remember that your flame, your light (your soul, body, whole Being) - is holy. Let it remind you: your power, your sovereignty, and your capacity to receive are ALL holy. One does not have to come at the expense of the other. All the parts get to exist inside the wholeness of your light, which is a part of the light of the creator. And together with God and the love that surrounds you always, your light can transform the ordinary into miracles while being kept safe, with both discernment and allowing, in equal parts... because your light? It is Holy.
