You Don't Need to Fix Yourself: On the Freedom of Being Fully Human

May 04, 2026

Once you realize that you don't need to treat your humanity any longer as something to overcome - you touch a texture of freedom.

I have so much I could share about Morocco: the colors, the stories, the beauty, the moments that linger long after they pass. But what desires to be spoken today inside of me is a core aspect of this work - it is the energy that moved and is still moving through the field - that was put down and was deeply picked up.

The unique freedom of no longer needing to fix, change, or justify being human.

There is a kind of liberation in the de-shaming of being fully, unapologetically alive. To be in pleasure, receive, and be truly embodied - is to Be With Everything. Not to define ourselves by it, but to meet it. To sit beside our experience with open hands. To embrace ourselves, our lives, our feelings - especially the ones that feel most tender, inconvenient, or challenging to be present with.

This is how our capacity expands. Not through force, or bypassing - but through presence.

There is such grace available when we allow ourselves to BE without diagnosis, without prognosis, without the constant orientation toward self-repair. When we stop treating ourselves as problems to solve, something soft begins to emerge. Something honest. Something whole.

What if nothing about you needs fixing? What if your design - exactly as it is - is already divine? A soul having a human experience. What if your imperfections are not flaws, but facets of a deeper perfection?

Let yourself feel tender. The tenderness is the gold.

Let yourself feel what you feel, without rushing to name it, move it, or transcend it. You do not need to fix it. You do not need to be fixed. You do not need to carve a path forward.

What if you were free to feel - fully, openly, without hesitation? Or identification?

You are human. What a beautiful thing that is.

Tend to your inner world. Be-friend what lives inside you. Because when we are kind to ourselves, something opens. A presence - quiet, alive, expansive. A space filled with possibility instead of pressure. A space filled with gentleness, instead of judgment.
