Wholesome Collaboration Is Redemptive and a Texture of Freedom
Mar 10, 2026"Wholesome Collaboration is Redemptive and a Texture of Freedom" were words I found myself saying and truly feeling at the recent Possibility in Authentic Freedom event in Florida.
I am so grateful to God that I have and will experience some of the most incredible collaborations in my life. The experiences I get to host are collaborative as well - every single person brings something and contributes their energy to the space in a way that is truly needed. We are ALL students and leaders in these spaces.
I truly believe this with my whole heart: our job here is to be ourselves. When we know this in our bones, our "mission" and "purpose" takes care of itself. We get to make an impact with who we Be - with ease. There is no one approach, methodology, or experience that is THE way. When we put our hearts and minds together is when we create our most incredible creations, art, and opportunities for all.
In social work school (though I don't practice as a traditional therapist anymore, I still deeply believe in this) we learned a lot about scope of practice. Doing what is in our lane, what is trauma informed, practicing what we have learned, and either abstaining or learning what we haven't - and referring out to others. It is such a beautiful (and important) thing to consider the question, therapist or not: what is energetically, physically, emotionally in my "scope"? What can I refer out to? How can I create wholesome collaborations (which to me is with at least 2 individual, health-full, whole, people) in my life, work, and family?
There is a texture of true, authentic freedom in collaboration. In supporting one another to build something far greater than what is possible alone - a whole new world, together.
Thank you to those I get to collaborate with - some who you see, some who you meet "behind the scenes" and some you will never meet - they are what makes everything I get to co-create with Hashem so extra special. And most of all - thank you Hashem, all wholesome collaborations start and end with YOU!
