I sit across from you (me, us?)

and suddenly my whole body remembers
it is a body, heart,
It is, there is Spirit,
a soul!

warm, curious,
wired for noticing.

There is nothing to think about.
Thought would only clutter
the bright simplicity
of you sitting here,
your breath rising
like something honest

Shhhhh

This moment never really went away
It just lived right below
The overprocessing
and under receiving
That has been handed down to you
Like an award you never asked for
You can set it down
(If you choose)

You can Be
Like poetry
Noone questions a poem
You are poetry
And I love you

Presence comes low in the belly,
a small warmth,
a soft yes.
A deep breath
"It's not that deep"
( ;) )
It spreads the way light spreads
when no one is trying to arrange it.
Just stop and Be here with me
For what this is
For who we really are

I feel my own rootedness return—
feet heavy in the good way,
like the earth is pulling up a chair for me
and saying,
Stay.
Be here.
This is yours too.
You belong to it and it belongs to you as much or as little as you
Choose

So you Choose.

From that grounded place
connection blooms easily—
not as a performance
but as a pulse.
Ahhh
You are In
So am I
So lovely.

Your eyes lift
and meet mine,
and something unscripted
passes between us,
like two seeds recognizing
they’ve been waiting
for the same rain.
And here it is!
We didn't DO anything to bring it down

I don’t have anything polished to offer—
just the truth of being alive
at the same table,
in the same minute,
with you.

Maybe this is all connection is:
the quiet courage
to let ourselves be felt.
