The Sign in the Front Yard
Aug 18, 2026I came home yesterday, and there is a big sign in my front yard. The realtor is in a big photo with a fancy shirt and bow tie - picture from his or his child's wedding? Bar Mitzvah? I couldn't tell. And it says FOR SALE.
I felt my heart beat in my belly. Excitement. Joy. Nostalgia. The grace of Hashem. Tender.
He put the sign while I was gone, horseback riding on the beach with a group of some of the most incredible women I have ever met.
Talk about Summer of Aliveness and The Frequency of Confidence.
I snapped the first photo of the light in my living room, and I got emotional thinking about the fact that I will be here for 2 more weeks.
I am so grateful for the womb and sanctuary this home has become for me and so many. To create a Dirah Bitachtonim, a resting place for Hashem. First in my heart, and flowing out into the physical space we got to be in. A place for myself and others to unwind, find their well of wellness, tap into infinite possibilities, create real connection, eat delicious food, and play was but a dream for me - and then reality.
And so it was. We hosted countless parties and events, business and pleasure, Shabbos and grief circles. My friends' kids grew up here. We hosted new moms and 5 retreats and countless 6 week groups and Medicine without Medicine and friends who just needed a minute. I had in person client sessions here. We played and loved and laughed and grew and now with a full and also aching heart, it is time to fly in the direction of my next adventure.
I'm going to share more as it all unravels and comes back together again. I'm going to honor the heck out of this passage of time, the earth I lived and loved on and what became possible here.
I'm taking flight soon... but right now I'm on the ground. I have the gift and opportunity to slow down time by being present with every moment, memory, feeling, and flutter.
Thank you, Hashem, for this home that was, is, and always will be a house for YOU. While I grew my wings, while I made memories, while I grew my courage, while you healed my heart, while I LIVED.
