Every single soul on this earth is enrolled in soul school... but not everyone is signed up for the same classes.
Many of you reading this know there are souls here who you know from before. From a time before this lifetime. You know that spark of familiarity, resonance, déjà vu you feel with some people? That.
Every soul in your life is here to serve a purpose for you, and you for them. Some are here to trigger you, some to activate you, some to test you, some to accelerate you. And some are here to help you, love you, cheer you on, walk you home.
It's important to start recognizing the difference.
When we see the world through the lens of the soul's journey, we start to take others' journeys and choices less personally. We start to understand that triggers and being activated are actually a good and helpful thing to assist our soul in growing into all it can be. Instead of being upset at the messenger, we start to understand the message.
Some souls are simply here to be in resonance and play with you. Other souls are here to test you. Both are deeply important for our soul's growth and alignment.
We are all here in soul school, but it's important to remember that we don't all have the same assignments. When we can know that in our bones, comparison and judgment get to melt. Our only job is to be ourselves. Your assignment was never to follow someone else's path, but to find, forge, and follow your own.
If you are confused about what soul classroom or soul assignment is yours, I have one hint from the trenches to help you in your journey of finding it: It is never going to get found by looking outside of yourself. The answers are only within.
Everything is teaching us about love.
This is life school – the school where the ultimate assignment is to work less hard by simply learning to be who we really are again. This is a different kind of school. We aren't here to conform or contort or contract. We are here to be, become, shine, light, ignite, play, enjoy, luxuriate, and exist in Hashem's (God's) embrace.
One thing I know for certain after experiencing my own soul and facilitating and witnessing many soul hypnotherapy sessions, constellations, womb regressions, rebirthing, Medicine without Medicine, Somatic Energy sessions and the like is this: The soul lives forever. It is here to love. And it wants to grow.
When we can remember these important things, moments of resistance and forgetting can become a little less sticky and tricky. Also, it's okay if we forget sometimes. We will always return to remembering... it's the way our souls are wired. To grow, to become, and to receive the privilege of learning and being who we truly are.
Only the body comes to an end. The soul lives forever. And forever? That's a very, very, very long time!
