Today was a full and slow morning in Tuscany, the day before the retreat.
I woke up at 6 am to watch the sky turn pink out of the red window shutters from my cozy bedroom. I opened my eyes to an expansive view as far as my eyes can see, and watched it for a while. Let the pleasure of the moment move through me, and sit with it a bit.

I then set my alarm to sleep a little longer. I woke up after my little morning nap and I opened the big window in the shower and took a deep breath of cool dewy autumn in Italy air and let my eyes feast on the bounty.
I had a hot delicious shower and changed into a comfy robe.

I then walked outside into the delicious sunlight and explored every inch of this property. There were at least 12 different roses, and cows grazing right over the fence. The hot tub built into the ground was blowing steam into the wind.
I said some prayers, enjoyed the sun and a coffee, and moved my body, wrote some more. I got very, very excited for the women joining, and started crying with joy, and also a feeling in my heart I can't describe when I saw a photo they sent me of some of them meeting in the airport. What a crew this group is!!!

Chani and Rochel were already gone before I left my room, doing some errands in Tuscany with the driver. They came back with even more (!!!) delicious and beautiful produce. And lots of plants and in-season flowers for the bedrooms.
A man was here cleaning, washing dishes, and organizing.

Chani made the kitchen gorgeous, like an art installation, and started cooking! Rochel set up the Facilitation room in the way I love it so much, made welcome bags with some of the gifts I am so excited to share with the women.

I sat in meditation and finished preparing the Facilitations. I also took care of answering emails to my assistant, and a meeting with a magazine that wants to feature this work. I sat with Hashem and took time to ground into this frequency from my head to my toes. So it becomes even more anchored into my visceral reality.
It's all only as real as I am grounded.

As the sun set tonight, we got into the hot tub for a bit, watching the full moon shine low and bright in the beautiful starry sky.
