Let the Divine Ruin You: Shedding Performance and Honoring Desire
Nov 03, 2025Let the divine ruin you of all that is performative, heavy, not who you are. Until all that's left is breath and pulse, devotion and fire, the raw and trembling truth of being utterly, achingly, alive. Amen. Amen. Amen.
Channeling some Mary Oliver vibes today and eradicating people pleasing. Because it's not holy to be nice in a performative way.
It's manipulative and doesn't work in the long run to create a redemptive world of beauty and possibility. It just stalls the creative process and the process of authentic connection.
It's okay. We all did what we did when we knew what we knew. Now that we know differently, we can forgive ourselves and create something new.
It's a holy, holy thing to be yourself and honor the hell out of your desires: They are the divine speaking through you, one whisper at a time.
