Faith and Miracles: The Real Miracle Is Not What You Think
Apr 19, 2026I truly, deeply believe that the real miracle is not when all your dreams come true. It's not when the end of the story comes and you see why you waited for what you waited for, or why the thing happened to you, or why the thing didn't happen to you.
The real miracle is the faith that you gain in the process. The real miracle is that last time you turned to Hashem after an hour, and this time you turn to Hashem after a few minutes. The real miracle is intimacy with the divine and with our own soul. The real miracle is never wasting a good trigger — recognizing that our triggers, what activates us, what hurts us, is our soul material that we get to work through.
The real miracle is the opportunity to get to enjoy the journey. The real miracle is the people that we get to meet along the way.
When your consciousness opens in a certain way, when the stars align, when it's time — you meet every single person you're supposed to meet. You receive every single thing you're supposed to receive. And when you're plugged into Hashem, when you see Hashem in everything, and unplug from anything that you think is going to give you energy, that you think is going to give you life, that you can feed off of in order to feel good or in order to feel aligned or in order to feel alive — and you really truly plug into Hashem — that's the prize. Everything else is just details. Everything else in some ways is just noise.
Of course it's the cherry on top. Of course it's the things that make life so exciting. But somebody can be sitting in the most beautiful place in the world and be miserable, because the thoughts in their head and the feelings in their body could be giving them a different experience than what is the present moment, the here and now, which is perfection.
When we plug into Hashem, every single moment is an opportunity to be present with what is. Because everything, everything, everything is temporary. Every moment passes. Every pain passes.
