My soul sister gave a talk about Belonging. A tender topic in the times we are in.

She comes from a Tribe. She understands what it is like in a community where belonging relies on conformity. And she generously shared her story of longing and belonging with us. A story that spans generations before and after. A story beyond the mind, beyond what it looked like, or what it looks like. A story of sensation AND most of all, of Soul.

She spoke about embodied belonging, about belonging to ourselves. She spoke about all that in the most embodied way.

It is a wonder to be friends with women who Be-long themselves to life, to their bodies, to each other. I am so proud. I am in awe of the souls I get to walk with.

Thank goodness for souls.
