It all started on a Zoom call with a question to Chani and Rochel, our Chief of Nourishment and Chief of Organization for FOF Morocco: if anything was possible, what is your highest vision for your birthday?

Both their birthdays were going to fall out over the Morocco experience and I wanted to have the opportunity for us all to celebrate with them.

An idea started to come through Chani and she shared some of her vision for a traditional Henna experience with a gold chariot - she spoke her dream with descriptive words and joy and passion, and I felt it - because when a vision comes through her it's a vision for an opportunity for more joy for ALL to be a part of. That is a part of her generosity of spirit.

When I first asked the concierge she laughed and said "no, I don't think that is possible." I just kept envisioning the absolute joy and laughter that this party would bring. After some more conversations the concierge said YES and the party was in motion - and before we knew it there were gold couches, red carpets, henna artists, a belly dancer with fire, amazing traditional costumes, jewelry and dressers, delicious food, amazing music, little details - and yes, a golden chariot with 10 men.

We got all dressed and ready and went outside. Chani's face when she saw the chariot was priceless. As she was lifted up she looked at us all with joy and said to each one of us with a big smile: "friends - dreams really do come true!"

Chani, I want to say to you:

Happy Birthday. Thank you for dreaming a bigger dream for all. For not being afraid to dream, to laugh, to play, to receive with joy and grace. Thank you for knowing that your joy is all of our joy and for leading by BEING the possibility in the universe for adventure, audaciousness, and pure fun. May you continue to see all your dreams and ideas come to life in the most incredible of ways.
