Celebrating LIFE is a core value.

As I was looking around at this incredible party that Simi and her beautiful friends created to celebrate her, I really saw each person there with my heart and soul. It was a moment of seeing beyond the moment we were all experiencing. I saw what we all had in common - so many life experiences before this moment in time, where we were all gathered together. I looked around and saw the most beautiful hearts and souls and felt what it may have taken to be here, now at this moment in time.

Most of my friends have been through incredible loss, challenges, grief, heartbreak, and both incredibly uplifting and amazing and incredibly challenging life experiences, and yet - every single person gathered was there because of something that Simi embodies and attracts: celebration of life. Living all the way alive while we are alive. Celebrating because we can. LIVING.

Because peace isn't found in the picture perfect moments and neither is freedom. They are found in the everyday mundane time where we choose to come back to ourselves and our souls over and over again. And that deserves CELEBRATION.

I took a moment when Simi invited us to bless ourselves and the whole room there - with the capacity, desire, willingness, and support to honor the shared value that was palpable in the room - the value to celebrate LIFE at every chance we can get!

I bless that for you too. Make yourself a Birthday party. Plan the trip. Celebrate YOU! Invite others - be the possibility in the universe to spread the generosity of spirit that celebrating is!
