Remember that your art, business, leadership, or offering has the potential and ability to change the world. Treat it as such.
Not because it's innovative, special, cool, beautiful, unique (it is, but it's not because of that. It's never because of that). It's because it's YOURS.
Your unique creation, your soul's imprint, your special touch on the world can and will never be replicated or duplicated by anyone ever. Only you are you. That is your biggest superpower, most incredible offering, and most important contribution.
The flavor of your soul, like your fingerprint, is yours alone. We are all one. We come from One and return to One on this soul journey. That is true. And we come to this life and choose the path we will pave, the game we will play, the adventures we will have – and each soul has its own path on this spiral of life. Each soul has its own opportunity to express its own unique soul song.
What is your soul's color, rhythm, vibration, scent, song? How does your soul move through the world in the most vibrant and authentic way that only it has? We don't find the answers to these questions outside of ourselves. We find them inside of our souls.
What would it be like to know that the beauty and light and specialness you see in this world and in others... is a mirror to your own soul?
Thank you for being you. It's literally your superpower.
Being ourselves is one of the most radical acts we can choose in a world that can at times honor masks, distortions and illusions more than a real face. Being ourselves is the way to create the truly more beautiful world.
Being ourselves will bring the world into more coherence, organization, cohesiveness and wholeness. When we invite the fragments within back to wholeness, let our true selves breathe and BE, the whole world rearranges its frequency. A restoration of life happens.
The mask, trap and facade of sameness and following others' blueprints will never bring you the gentle peace (and ecstasy) of being you.
"The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are." – Carl Jung
What would your soul have you say? What would your soul have you do? And most importantly – who and what would your soul have you BE?
When you know in your bones that there is no other you like you, you can begin to luxuriate in the light of your own being. You can begin to shine in only the way your soul can. No one, no person, trauma, or predator, as hard as they might try, can be, become, take, steal or hurt your soul. It's untouchable and indestructible. It's a piece of God. And it's yours, for forever and ever.
In the Jewish tradition, we say Modeh Ani every morning. It's a prayer thanking God, the Creator, for returning our soul to us. We say: "I give thanks before You, living and eternal King, for You have mercifully restored my soul within me; Your faithfulness is great."
We do not say: thank you for returning his soul, or her soul, or their souls to me. No. We say thank you for returning MY soul. Because what we are thanking God for and recognizing each morning is not only that a soul is returned to us but that OUR unique soul that only we have is returned to us. We recognize our unique and important role we have in the collective orchestra.
