U'vacharta Ba'Chayim: And You Shall Choose Life
Oct 22, 2025U'vacharta Ba'Chayim - And You Shall Choose Life
There's a point in time, if and when we choose, when the soul stops asking why me and starts remembering- of course, me!
Because you said yes to this. To being here. To bringing light into form. You stood before the infinite and chose this life, this lot, this story, this adventure, these gifts, these challenges, this flavor of forgetting and fragments, feelings, and fortitude.
Choosing life isn't dramatic. It's a quiet, steady alignment with what's real. It's the moment you stop outsourcing aliveness and realize it's been yours the whole time.
It's not about fixing anything. It's about remembering who's breathing you.
Life isn't happening to you - it's happening through you. You are the conduit. The continuation. The prayer made into form.
Choosing life is saying yes to the moment exactly as it is, and meeting it with a presence so deep and real and simple that it becomes holy.
It's knowing that every inhale is in agreement with creation. That God didn't make a mistake when He woke you up today.
This is what it means to me to choose life - To participate in my own existence, with my whole heart, to participate in your own existence with your whole heart. To let the Infinite move through your finite body. To live like every breath is a conversation with the Divine itself - because it is!
You don't need to do more, or very much at all. You just need to remember. Because the choosing isn't once. It's constant. It's Now. In every single moment of every single day, only always. No days off. And every time you choose - the world fills with a little more light... And you find God, and yourself, right there, right here, inside of it all
