A Note From Rivky

 

Hi, Rivky here.

I'm looking forward to working together. The goal is to come closer to coming home to our real selves through regulating and rewiring the nervous system and getting to the root of the subconscious thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that often keep us stuck in our lives. 

The goal is to be and become who we really are- underneath the stories, the ideas, the narratives, and the limiting beliefs we may carry.

Underneath the protector parts and the coping mechanisms.

To make the subconscious reasons for our symptoms conscious- whether those symptoms are manifesting physically or emotionally.

And- to create a deeper intimacy and connection with our Selves, bodies, feelings, others, and ultimately Everything.

I see patterns in your body and subconscious mind and help you see them too, so that you can reclaim choice and live with more joy, presence, embodiment, aliveness and connection.

A few things before our session: (if it's a 1:1 session including breathwork or bodywork, and you are joining in person or on zoom)

Come with clothing that you feel comfortable in. Loose shirts and leggings or yoga pants, a tank top, or a cozy sweatshirt are all great options. Cozy socks or barefoot are all okay. There is no need for sneakers.

If you are expecting a baby, please bring that to my attention. Breathwork can be an intense practice yet must be done more gently for someone pregnant. 

If you take any medication, please let me know before the session.

Please also message me with any irregular sleep, eating, etc. patterns.

We often start the session by setting intention through writing, ( please bring a notebook, you can also do this before the session) 

(Some modalities we use in 1:1 sessions are: Somatic healing practices, developmental work, IFS, Source Code, emotion code, EFT, breathwork, nervous system practices, shaking, various bodywork modalities, emotional release work, hypnotherapy, subconscious work, and more.)


*** Important:

Please send me a photo of a signed paper saying that you are okay with me putting my hands on you for therapeutic purposes prior to the session. 

Example: "I permit for Rivka Gross to use touch in sessions for therapeutic purposes" 

If you are referred by your therapist and are coming for trauma-based embodiment work (or not) please let me know before the session. If you would like your therapist to disclose anything you would need to sign with them or I can not speak with them according to HIPPA. It can be helpful to collaborate if that is something you are comfortable with

(Please send me a photo of a signed paper if you are okay with me speaking to your therapist, as well as therapist's name)

If we are working on zoom: please send me a signed photo of a paper that says: "I understand that working with Rivka Gross can be activating and I take full responsibility for my mental, emotional and physical health. I agree that this work is not a replacement for therapy and I will seek additional support if needed"

 

I can't wait to see what unfolds when we step into the presence of our bodies and subconscious mind.
